Poor Gets Richer?

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain is now home to almost 70 billionaires with steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal heading the latest annual Rich List compiled by The Sunday Times.

The number of billionaires in Britain has trebled in the last four years and their fortunes have grown faster than anywhere else in the world, the list calculated.

"The richer you are, the easier it is to get even richer," compiler Philip Beresford said.

So, it is right when people say "The rich gets richer, the poor gets poorer..."

Then how can one, who is initially poor, gets rich?

What's wrong with me?

Woke up early today...

Well, these days i cant really sleep. I will wake up at least once or twice in the middle of the night. Not sure what happened though. I think it's because my sub concious woke me up cos i cant find my pillows. My pillows are everywhere and they do not stay put in one area. Thus, I will wake up just to pick them all up.

My company recently had a party, a farewell party, for our intern. Her last day was yesterday and the party was on Thursday. We had pizza, fried chicken, maccaroni and cheese, and the intern brought her self-made cheese cake! It was extremely nice. Me? I made dessert for everyone as usual.

Below are the pictures of the dessert that I have made. It is called "Earthquake".

REPEAT#*@@

I see the sun shining on me!

Lately, I have been thinking of a lot of things... work, entertainment, finance, relationship and many more... Now I finally can see the point of why such things had to happen.

I had a long chat with my friend cum colleague nights ago... She is a married lady so I guess she knows more as she also grew up in the city. I am new in this city of course... She said everything that happened has its own reason. Just like the book that I have read and presented, "Do things for a reason". Whenever anything happens, it has its own reason. Just like why we should eat? To stay alive (But make sure you do not Live To Eat...)

I would like to pay more attention to my career i guess. Couldn't care much and couldn't care less about any other things. I still have to care about the people around me, my family and my friends. I still have to care about myself and the one I love (Not found yet... LOL)

For those who are reading, this post might seemed "Pointless" or rather "Content-less" and empty... but I just felt like i wanna post something... just that I cant really express it in words...

(First Post in Mandarin)

Back from "Overseas"

Hi all... thanks for waiting so long for my updates.

I just came back from "overseas"... well, not actually from other country but instead, people from other countries came for a visit. They came here for a meeting over at Microsoft Malaysia.

We had an event, a hospitality event to be exact whereby we will be the team of people who arrange their meals, accommodation, meeting venues, transportation and etc... it was totally a very exciting and fun experience for me as I get to meet people from The States, China, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and not to forget Koreans. All of them are very friendly and cheerful. Although most of them are in higher management level like CEO, CFO and Presidents, they are very down to earth and very appreciative. Since the very first day I met them, they never stop saying "Thank You". I really like the smiles on their faces, it really relief all the tiredness that we had.

On Sunday, we went to watch the F1 Final at Sepang Circuit. It was my first F1 experience (though I used to stud and work 10km away from it)! The only thing that I dislike is the weather and the temperature. It is as though you were thrown into an oven! Yet, all the F1 fans were still very energetic! They waved their team flags, shouted, clapped their hands and even danced!

It was indeed a wonderful experience being the Hospitality Team for the event. Seeing them expressing their happiness on their face really made the entire team feel appreciated! We felt very happy when they are too as we know, we did something great for them! Some of them are here for the very first time. It was fun when they are facinated with our local delicacies like Beef Rendang, Coconut Dodol and many more. They love the Beef Rendang so much they cant stop eating it!

Oh yeah, we are indeed very proud of ourselves too because we manage to introduced our local culture (Chinese, Indian and Malay) to them in form of food and cultural performances. They were given a chance to enjoy cultural performances at one of the dinner venue. Some of them even went up the stage and dance with the dancers!

Most of them have checked out by now... The Koreans are one bunch of friendly people. Although there is language gap, we manage to express what we meant and we can understand what they want.

Will tell you more about the event in my next post.... gotta sleep now... dizzy... haha...

Rather Quiet Weekend / Today

Last Saturday and Sunday are rather quiet as there are not much activities to do.

Came back from an event then straight to a Pool Party, reached home at about 12.15am and slept at about 1.30am. I woke up at 8.30am (automatically) and start to browse the Internet and played some computer games. Went out for lunch and grocery shopping until 5.00pm.

It was then dinner time whereby I cooked my own food. The day ended with me sleeping at 3.00am, Sunday.

It was pouring before I knew it, I woke up at 10.00am and felt too comfortable, I continue sleeping until 12.00pm. Woke up, took a shower and went for lunch at Times Square. We (my housemates and I) finished dining at about 3.00pm. Then we window-shopped for about 2 hours before we head back home.

As usual, we cooked our own dinner. I slept at about 1.00am, Monday. I woke up at 7.30am yesterday.

Today, it was rather quiet in the office as all the managers and directors went out for a workshop cum meeting off site. Somehow, the office was kinda warm because 3 out of 4 air-cond was not on! Many said they are cold because of the rainy afternoon.

Left the office at 6.30pm. Cooked my own dinner, played computer game, typing my blog and now... I'm about to sleep to welcome a more challenging tomorrow! Yes, more work and work and work and work and work.... and it goes on and on and on and on...

Packed Schedule !

Wow, it's been a busy week for me!

Like what the previous post had mentioned, I was assigned to go Penang to help in one of the event organized by my company. It was indeed a great experience handling presenters from a very well-known IT giant. It was even more interesting managing the presentation slides for the day. Everything need to be detailed and I have to stay alert all the time just in case anything happened.

As usual, I was the emcee for their bowling competition. They will normally have bowling competition after the seminar as part of their team building effort. I enjoyed being the emcee, again!

Nevertheless, I had a great time working with 3 of my colleagues that was also assigned (initially) for the event. We had wonderful chat during dinner, seafood dinner! Got to know them even closer then before.

- Part of post deleted as I am working as a Secret Agent FBI (Father, Brother and I)-

After the event, I went for the Pool Party, organized by the second boss of my company. It was tremendously fun and enjoyable. Not to mention seeing (almost) all the female colleagues in sexy outfit and bikini. Haha... It's been long since I have jumped into a pool. It all ended by11.30pm and I reach home at about 12.15am.

I just finished watching a new anime before I start typing on this post. It is called "Fate / Stay Night". It was actually based on a game by Type-Moon.

It is said that the Holy Grail grants wishes to he who wields it. To materialise the Holy Grail, a ritual is about to be held. The Holy Grail will choose seven wizards (masters) and give them seven familiar spirits (servants).

Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker.

The master contracts with one of seven familiar spirits that plays one of the above roles (classes). The master must prove that he is qualified to have the Holy Grail, meaning that he must eliminate other masters to show he is the strongest. This ritual is called "The Holy Grail War".

I say it is worth the time watching this anime as it is only 24 episodes. Wonderful storyline, detailed CG and also good music!
