A Heart is not a Plaything

Someone that I wanted to "date" hint me with this sentence - "A Heart is not A Plaything"

I found out that a poem with almost the same title and meaning existed quite some time ago... Here is how it goes.

===============================
PLAY THING

A heart is not a play thing
A heart is not a toy
But if you want it broken
Just give it to a boy.
Boys like to play with things
To see what makes them run
But when it comes to kissing
They do it just for fun
Boys never give their hearts away
They play us for a fool
But when we give our hearts to them
They try and play it cool
You'll wonder where he is at night
You'll wonder if he is true
One day you'll be happy
And the next day you'll be blue
Then it starts to happen
You'll worry day and night
You see my friend you're losing him
It never turns out right
Love is fine but hurts so much
The price you pay is high
If you could choose between life and death
I think I'd rather die
So when I say don't fall in love
You'll hurt before its through
You see my friend I ought to know
I fell in love with you
My heart is yours forever love
I hope you'll understand
But I thought when I gave you my heart
I gave it to a MAN.

Trip to Port Dickson

Yes~!

Now my blog has a title... wow, it took me a while to realise that the title tag was not enabled.

Let's continue... I went to Port Dickson with another 7 of my friends... among them are my room mate, my ex college mate and my ex-student (friends)... yes, I had students as I was working in Student Services Division.

Internet connection at my place here is kinda crazy today... I'm still trying to upload the pics that we took during our trip there. We stayed at Ancasa Resort... we rented an apartment... it has 3 rooms (1 master and 2 medium room), which in total can fit about 6 - 8 people. It has a kitchen as well as a large living room (with TV). All bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioner, bed and pillows.

We had steamboat for dinner. We also celebrated my room mate's birthday there... We had cakes and junk food. We played poker (Blackjack) as well as had a few cans of beer. We had the chance to catch up with each other on the latest updates as well as gossips. We checked on on saturday and checked out on sunday... Only abut 24 hours there.. it was fun and relaxing. Really worth the effort of going there...

Had my hair cut the following Monday (20 Nov 2006)...

It's been exactly one month since i last updated this blog... my blog...

Many things happened during this particular month... My company had 5 events running at the same time within 2 days... it was events for BAT, IBM and Adobe...

I was helping out for the IBM event and I only had 2 hours of sleep after setup (which ended at about 4am and crew call was 6.30am)... Went back to the hotel room and straight fall asleep without changing clothes... I woke up at 6.00am and took my shower and went straight to the event... It was held at Sunway Hotel. To my surprise, I actually dose off in the secretariat room after lunch (my AR finished after lunch time). I dosed off while sitting on the chair and the next thing i know, I was "summoned" by my manager. The last thing i remembered was me walking to the hotel and I sat on the hotel bed trying to recall what had happened... i tot i was on sleep-walking...

After I have "Recovered" from my tiredness (I slept for 2 hours in the hotel room, woke up at 5.00pm), I took a taxi back to my office to finish some paperwork. Then my colleague and I rushed to KL for the Adobe event. It was pouring heavily that evening. The roads were all jammed up... bumper to bumper... We reach the venue at about 8pm... We went back to our hotel at about 2.30am and crew call the next day was 6.30am as well... Imagine~!

The event ended at about 5pm and my team and I went for dinner and then I went straight home with taxi.

It was tiring managing 2 events in 2 consecutive days. Luckily i was not alone... I was with a few of my team members that are so helpful and willing to guide me.

==============================================

In order to appreciate our efforts in making the event a success, our Business Account Manager for IBM gave us a treat of dinner at The Ming Room, Bangsar Shopping Centre. It was the best meal i had that week and of course the meal was an expensive one...

BAT Business Account Manager also gave the crew members a treat at a famous Crab Cuisine restaurant. We had lots of crabs and other delicious food that night. It was equally fun although it may not be as classy as The Ming Room. It all depends on who you are dining with.

Hmm... I'll continue my story in the next post. I took leave last week to meet up with my friends. We had a gathering over at Port Dickson...
