Ok, let's me continue to talk about my handphones...

After the infamous 3610, in which many are still using it now, i changed to Samsung SGH-S500 because i need a WAP phone to do my FInal Year Project...

My mom bought it for me with for a rebated price of RM699 (12 months 0% interest instalment plan). It was originally priced at RM1099 by FMG (First Mobile Group - Authorized Distributor)

The S500 last about a year then I sold it to my friend for RM400. That is when my journey with 2nd hand phone started!

I sold the phone without getting another one. So, i had to borrow a Nokia 3210 from the friend that i sold my S500 to. That time was Chinese New Year 2005. I bought a 2nd hand Nokia 6610 online and waited for the package to come. I went home to Penang and the next day, I got my Nokia 6610.

Nokia 6610 was my dream phone simply because i like its design and functions. It was more like a business look phone, elegant and professional.

The Nokia 6610 was a nice phone but before i got my hands on Nokia 6610, i was impressed with the design and screen quality of Sony Ericsson's phone. The first one that caught my attention was Sony Ericsson T630.

I got myself a second number, a DIGI (016) number. It has the same last 4 digits as my Maxis (012) number, my primary line. I bought a Nokia 6510 for my 016 number.

I had two phones since then. I sold my Nokia 6610 a few months later and bought a Sony Ericsson T630. The function was great! I like the Bluetooth (Yes, the T630 was my first bluetooth phone) and the wonderful ringtones.

The interface was a bit awkward at first but as time goes by, i'm used to it. Oh, i forgot to mention, I got my Nokia 6510 for RM200 and I traded my Nokia 6610 for SE T630 with additional RM80.

Well, I guess that's all for now. Im gonna continue the rest of the story in my next post.

History of my handphones...

I started using handphone since my college time... let me see... yes, i was 17 then...

My first phone : Nokia 3210 (Dark grey)

I bought a second hand Nokia 3210 as my first phone. My dad bought me a Hotlink (012) starter pack. SO, i started using it the next day when i go to work. I worked part time as a Display Artist in The Summit BM Plaza, a shopping complex.

The phone hung all of a sudden and i sent it back to the shop. The shop gave me a substitution, Ericsson a1018 while they try to fix the Nokia 3210.

Later, the shop owner said that the Nokia 3210 cannot be fix due to the water trapped inside the phone. It was the previous owner's fault. So, i decided to change to the latest (at that time) Nokia 3310. It cost RM599 at that time. I had to top up RM299 as I bought the Nokia 3210 for Rm300.

Nokia 3310 (Released in year 2000)

I'm still using Nokia 3310 until it was damaged in the year 2002. Surprisingly, the toughest phone of the year got damaged when it dropped 90 degrees on the floor. The bottom part was facing down when it fell. Thus, the circuit board was cracked and it cannot be saved anymore.

I resorted to Nokia 3610. I bought it for RM4XX in end of year 2002. I used up all my working allowance for the phone. I was quite happy with it because it has white backlight.

Well, i will tell you guys more about my handphones in my next post. In total, I used more than 10 handphones up till now...

I went to the cinema at Midvalley Megamall last Tuesday with my friends. We watched "Ice Age 2: The Meltdown".

It was a hilarious show though I didnt laugh much. Perhaps, simple joke will not make a joker like me laugh....

A scene from V for Vendetta

"Remember, remember. The 5th of November..."

Well, that was the famous line from the movie V for Vendetta. I went for that movie last 2 weeks with a bunch of new students. Yes, new students who just enrolled in my college. I was their tour guide for the Saturday's tour.

Anyway, the movie was great but er... just too much talking and less action to me. I prefer action packed movies (but of course with some talking...) like Jet Li's or Jackie Chan's.

The basketball league has over. I had stopped playing basketball for 2 weeks since then. Last Saturday, I played basketball with my friends for 2 hours non stop! We started at 10.00pm and ended at around 12.15am the next day.

I woke up the next day and 'ouch'... I had a painful shoulder! *giggles*
