Rich Gets Richer... Again?!

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's 40 richest people are worth US$43bil, with the top 10 owning 80% of their total net worth.

In a press release, Forbes Asia said the collective net worth of the top 40 richest Malaysians has gone up 65% from US$26bil.

Hmm... looks like I like to read from The Star Online and then comment it here in my blog... How silly can that be? I dont think so...

So, let's leave the "Freedom of Blogging" topic apart and talk about rich people, getting richer... again.

Why can the rich gets richer? Is it because their money grow faster? Or their income is larger?
How can a poor gets poorer? IS it because their money doesn't grow? Or their income is ... tiny?

I am not sure. What I am sure is, a poor can become rich if the poor knows how to make his/her money grow. I read almost all of Mr. Kiyosaki's books. He said, "To see if one is rich, we must look at his/her savings, not how much he/she is getting."

One can have a very large income but if he/she spends a lot, it is still the same as one that has a tiny income but spend less. What is used to determine one's wealth, is his/her savings at the end of the day (or rather, end of the month / year).

Few People Read Blogs

KUALA LUMPUR: Political web blogs have a very small following of about 20,000 people, Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin said.

"Only that number out of the 11 million Internet users in the country are actively involved in political blogs. The political bloggers just write for each other to read; they are not a threat," he added.

So, why are people NOT reading blogs?

Many bloggers blog for each other to read. Yes, especially political bloggers (people that blog about politics, government policy and bla bla bla...). They tend to blog for each other to read. Blogger like Jeff and many other political bloggers have made their name popular among all.

Responsibilities of bloggers?
We are not allowed to write statements that is against the government?
We must not write about other races as we are living in a multi-racial country?
We should not blog about things that can threated the harmony of the country?

So, what exactly are our (Bloggers') responsibilities?

We (Bloggers) are also known as "Citizen Journalists". We write about what we like, what we dislike, how we feel and how other people feel. Now, we are restricted to what we can blog about! No more freedom of speech? What is freedom of speech?

Recently, I read Patrick Teoh's blog. It was interesting with the site title "TOKKOK" which pronounce as "Talk Cock". You can read it at http://patrickteoh.blogspot.com/

Money is Not Everything!

What has gone into the minds of teenagers nowadays? I read The Star Online this morning and I saw this article "Students sell bodies for handphone prepaid cards"

Adapted from the article,

FOR a RM10 top-up for their handphones, some schoolgirls are willing to sell their bodies, Harian Metro reported.

These so-called “top up” girls, first get to know the men through the Internet chat room and then go out on dates with them.

What is going on to the society now? Haven't the girls got any shame? They can just ask from their parents or work part time for the money instead of "selling bodies". This is just a disgrace!

It's been long since I last posted something here. Mainly because I was exhausted from working I guess. I have been "suffering" from this Facial Tic that I have on my eye lid. I checked with my friends and they said that it is merely because I was too tired or stressed. Got onto the Internet and the article said the same thing.

Guess I need to release some of the stress that has been trapped in me for so long. I have not really gotten a nice holiday since I work in KL. All I had was... was... Christmas, Chinese New Year (which I happened to got infected by Chicken Pox...). Maybe I should really take off before something bad happen to myself.

Oh yeah, I bought a car in March 2007. This was being kept a secret until yesterday, the car insurance policy was posted to my house back in Bukit Mertajam and my mom text me about it. I thought of giving them a surprise during the coming Christmas. Gosh, the secret only lasted a month plus... I thought I have been keeping this "secret" so good.. God knows why the insurance policy will reach the hands of my parents.

So, now you know... now everyone knows because it's no point for me to keep the "secret" anymore... Muahaha...
