Few People Read Blogs

KUALA LUMPUR: Political web blogs have a very small following of about 20,000 people, Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin said.

"Only that number out of the 11 million Internet users in the country are actively involved in political blogs. The political bloggers just write for each other to read; they are not a threat," he added.

So, why are people NOT reading blogs?

Many bloggers blog for each other to read. Yes, especially political bloggers (people that blog about politics, government policy and bla bla bla...). They tend to blog for each other to read. Blogger like Jeff and many other political bloggers have made their name popular among all.

Responsibilities of bloggers?
We are not allowed to write statements that is against the government?
We must not write about other races as we are living in a multi-racial country?
We should not blog about things that can threated the harmony of the country?

So, what exactly are our (Bloggers') responsibilities?

We (Bloggers) are also known as "Citizen Journalists". We write about what we like, what we dislike, how we feel and how other people feel. Now, we are restricted to what we can blog about! No more freedom of speech? What is freedom of speech?

Recently, I read Patrick Teoh's blog. It was interesting with the site title "TOKKOK" which pronounce as "Talk Cock". You can read it at http://patrickteoh.blogspot.com/
