Price and Rice...
I read The Star that day and I saw this tag line - "The price of rice is up again – this time by 10%. This is the second time the rice price was increased this year. The last round was in April."

Like any other people will say: "What also increase, only salary never increase..." I beg to differ the statement and to rephrase it as, "Our salary increase very much slower than other things..."
See, all of us get increment working for someone else... it's a matter of whether the increment is enough to cope or is fast enough to catch up with the price increase in raw materials and such.
Then there is this article about being more caring, says our PM.
"Be a caring society. Do not think twice about doing charity for the poor, regardless of their race and creed. Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi made this plea to all Malaysians to help the Government wipe out poverty in the country."

Alright! Allow the price increase of raw material and food to happen and then ask us to give / contribute to the charity?
Robert Kiyosaki once said, "Only give / contribute to the charity if you have extra money"
The golden question is, "How on earth can we have extra money, when everything that we need to buy, is so expensive?" And who will care for us if we have no money to buy things that we need?
Help the government to wipe out poverty in the country? Haha... stop using tax payers' money to build big buildings, offices. Instead, give it to the poor, give them food, clothes, education so that they can be independent in the future.
If the government is gonna use the money to build... some big gov building / offices and spend money on landscaping and decorative to a place where no one want to go (e.g. Putrajaya...), they might as well use the money, to "wipe out" poverty!
That is what I think... I do not know what i the government's plan in financing or whatsoever. In a layman's way of thinking, there is for sure a better place / avenue to spend this money.
END.
