English in Malaysian Daily Life

Malaysians are a bunch of patriotic people. They support our government by speaking English because if you dont speak English, you will be considered as 'low class' (some say...)

So I overheard a group of people talking in English while I was walking to the taxi station earlier just now...

A: "Eh, wanna go makan dinner?"
B: "Dun want lah..."

C: "That side got promotion for their buffet, Rm15 all you can eat wor"
B "Like that I go makan lah... cannot tahan already"

A & C: "You ar...kedekut lah"
