Acceptance with just a Click

Sherman Schrader: Hey, "Acceptance is just a click away" was your idea.
Bartleby Gaines: Yeah, but I didn't want you to make it clickable!

That were the lines from the movie "Accepted". It's a movie whereby a high school burnout discovers he's been rejected from every college he's applied to. Then he creates a fake university in order to fool his overzealous parents.

It was a very touching movie especially when we see that students in South Harmon Institute of Technology (S.H.I.T.) are given a chance to express themselves and to explore the world on their own, during their 4 years college life. It's inspiring enough when Bartleby Gaines (the lead actor) said (something like this)," We dont give a shit whether you approve or not, we will not stop learning~!"

"Listen guys, there are plenty of successful people who didn't go to college. Albert Einstein. You know? Pocahontas never went to college. Corey Feldman and Corey Haim; they had a great run. Both Lewis and Clark. Suzanne Somers. Bono. "

The moral of the movie is not to stop learning no matter what obstacles you face!

Another touching and inspiring movie was "Click" with Adam Sandler and Kate Beckinsale as husband and wife.

It's a movie that focuses on a workaholic architect who finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. Complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices. He missed years of his life... many precious moments... One day he woke up to find out that Donna (Kate Beckinsale) was not his wife anymore and he was not there when his father died. All this while, he has been working so hard that he neglected his family... worst, his life~!

Michael (Adam Sandler) ended up old in just a few seconds and was sick and lying on the hospital bed. He ran out looking for his son when his son said he was going to skip honeymoon for a business trip. Michael last word to Ben (Michael's son) was "Ben... Family... Family comes first". He did not want Ben to end up like him.

Many atimes we missed a lot of precious moments, opportunities and also people around us when we are busy working, or concentrate on things that we thought were VERY important. If only we could turn back time and look back on the things that we missed, we actually missed a hell lots of them!

So my fellow readers, give yourself a break and think of the things that you have done and moments that you have missed. If you have always thought of doing something but do not have the chance to do it, plan now and make sure you do it before the time comes. Yes, before the Angel of Death says "It's time..."
