Lagu Untuk Mu

Recently, many songs were aired on FlyFM and most of them are as if singing what is in my mind and what is happening to me.

It seemed strange but somehow, I cannot deny the fact that those songs are singing what I am thinking. Maybe God was trying to give me hint or directions for me as I was praying to God recently.

Didn't really remember the fact that God can create miracles and didn't thought that He actually sent me messages through songs aired on the radio.

One of the songs that I have heard and I like was a band from Indonesia called "Meet Uncle Hussain" with their Hit Singles - Lagu Untuk Mu (Song For You)

It is a song about how a guy feels about the girl he loves... Sad song...

Meet Uncle Hussain - Lagu Untukmu

Tiada bintang
Dapat menerangkan hati yang telah dicelah
Bagaiku lumpuh tak mampu berdiri
Aku tetap begini
Takkan berubah kerna aku tetap aku
Dan lalu rindumu bukanlah aku

*
Guna hati, akal dan fikiranmu
Berbeza
Kau dan juga aku
Dua hati yang tak mungkin bersatu

Apakah aku
Hanya boneka yang sering engkau mainkan
Yang dikawal oleh jari-jarimu
Ku punya hati dan perasaan
Pernahkah engkau fikirkan
Cukup cukuplah oh cukuplah

(ulang *)

Tak faham tak tahan
Sabarku tak tertahan
Melayan sikapmu perawan
Berbeza-berbeza
Kau dan aku berbeza
Kita memang tak serupa
Bebaskan bebaskan
Ku ingin dilepaskan
Kita tidak sehaluan
Cukuplah sudahlah
Sampai di sini saja
Hubungan kita berdua
Hoa…hoa….hoa…..

(ulang *)

Bersih & Hindraf

11 November 2007

KUALA LUMPUR:
Several roads in the city centre were temporarily closed, resulting in massive traffic jams in the Klang Valley yesterday.

Among the roads that were closed to motorists were Jalan Tun Perak, Jalan Parlimen, Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Kinabalu, Jalan Istana and Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman.

25 November 2007

KUALA LUMPUR: The Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) went ahead with its gathering here yesterday, defying a court order against the rally, forcing the police to use tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowd.

So, apa sudah jadi? (What is going on?)

Roads were blocked, people were arrested. Some even say the incident above has to happen in order for things to be in order.

Some say that the media has exaggerated the info in order to manipulate the minds of Malaysian.

Many comments, lots of opinions on the 2 incidents above. Why?

I heard before that the government is suppose to be afraid of the citizens. What if the above incidents happened in 5 places at the same time? Namely, Klang Valley, Northern, Southern Region & East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.

Haha... I think it will cause many to be arrested (enough place to 'store' all the demonstrators?) and worst, injuries. Hospitals will be packed!

But why? Why these people want to demonstrate?

Again, Apa sudah jadi? I do not understand...

FlyFM 2nd Fly-niversary

I have been waiting for this chance for so long. Yes, I have been dreaming of winning prizes from Radio Station and my dream has come true!

I won the VIP Passes for the FlyFM 2nd Fly-niversary Party last Tuesday. It was held in Central Park, One Utama last Saturday!

So, I have tried to ask a few of my friends to come along and none of them accepted my offer. Well, what to do? I went there alone on Saturday. I registered myself and they passed me 2 goodie bags. Yes, 2 goodie bags because I have 2 VIP passes. Each goodie bag has a cardboard palm (for you to wave), a key chain, car sticker, pocket calendar, t shirt and a neon light bar. I got two Size S t shirt. I should have checked before leaving the registration counter. I think the people at the counter were stupid as well. I am so big sized, Size S can only cover from my head to chest~!

I was early so I went to get myself Pepsi Max (as usual) and sat on the sofa in One Utama to wait for the time to come. The party started at 8pm. I was at the VIP area and there were food and drinks! The food are from TGI Fridays. They served pasta, buffalo wings, chicken fingers, fish and fries! I had 3 rounds altogether~!

They had to stamped my hand with a "Fly FM Fly-niversary VIP" stamp

It was a fun Opening cos all the FlyFM DJs were out on the stage to dance~! Then the party started with James Baum singing. Then followed by Dina and Altimate. Dina has a nice voice. She sang Alicia Keys' "No One" and it was marvellous. Wonderful voice~!

Then it was my favourite Ahli Fiqir and Meet Uncle Hussain. Not to forget everyone's (those that were there) favourite Hujan. Crowd were screaming and jumping. The hype continued with fireworks! Massive one... Almost like a junior New Year's Eve firework!

I left the place at 11pm and it was packed! One Utama car park was jammed!

It is so far, by far the best open air party ever~! Better than any rave parties....

17 Nov, Saturday...

Now I remember what I did on Saturday, 17 November 2008.

My friend and I went out to send my another friend's phone for repair at Sungai Wang at noon...

Then I continue to meet up another friend at Bangsar...

After that, my friend and I met up with some old friends to discuss some matters on our alumni association.

Had dinner and came back and rest lo...

That's all. Very packed day I would say....

I am back... Same Old Andrew

So, it's been 10 days since i last posted... Why la? you may ask...

Last week was rather a hectic one because of event, need time to recharge after that and stuff...

But it was an interesting week because I get to meet up with my old friends from college, all the way from Singapore and JB. Yeah, they came here to gather and they invited me too. We had buffet and then drink... Lots of updates, lots of jokes, lots of plans...

Then it was the preparation for event at Bangi. It was kinda relief cos it was only a one day event but the setup was tiring. I pity my managers and project lead cos they have to stay up the entire night till the next morning for the setup. Pity the Hotel AV too... next day he saw me he said, "Lum tidur lagi le..." (Have not slept yet). The rest also slept like for 2 hours only. We get to sleep until 9 something the next day in the hotel and it is also a leave in lieu for us.

All in all a good event. I'm happy too cos I know more people from the hotel.

Then what? Then it was Friday. My colleague and I had Nando's for lunch. It was a fun lunch cos we fully utilized the "privilege" of 'all you can eat' soup and bread. We had 6 bowls of soup and nearly 20 pieces of garlic bread! I'm sure the waiters and restaurant manager are shocked!

After lunch, I treat TLL, CLYF and my boss McD's ice cream as dessert! Muahaha...

How was my weekend? It was kinda.... same lah... same old weekend...

Saturday... saturday... OMG, I forgot what I did on saturday... haha... But I attended my colleague cum senior's wedding dinner at Palace of Golden Horses on Sunday. That was the first time I stepped into the hotel despite I was part of the committee for my college's prom night in 2002, which was held there.

Then yesterday, Monday, I was on leave... I went out to pick something up from my friend at Puchong. Bought something that cost 3 digits and came back home. Cooked my own dinner (Wan Tan Noodle with Sausages, Tapioca Fries, Onions, Garlic, Baked Beans and Eggs). It was rather an interesting experiment I would say... Muahaha....

Bolehland Story vol.4

Today's news... "Employers 'addicted' to foreign labour, says Pak Lah"
(Read More Here...)

KUALA LUMPUR: The hiring of foreign workers in large numbers has become an “addiction” among Malaysian employers and this must stop, said Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As usual, reading the news in the morning is what I always do every morning, unless I am damn busy and no mood lah...

What amazed me was one of the statement made by our beloved Prime Minister,

“We need to institute changes as soon as possible and make sure local workers are more skilled and knowledgeable to meet the challenges and needs of the industry,” the Prime Minister said in his winding-up address at the 58th Umno general assembly yesterday.

Abdullah said if productivity could be given a boost with the help of skilled and knowledgeable workers as well as a highly advanced system, this “addiction” on foreign workers could be stopped.

So, we must change... yes... we must change. Education System is the main issue here again...

Only if our education system is GOOD then only we can have skilled and talented graduates. A good education system is not only to have the students to excel academically but also non-academically. They should also be good in their soft skills such as interpersonal skills.

Industrial Training is also another good thing to have so that students can have a feel of "real" working life before they even start working.

Mindset is also another thing to be considered if we want to change. It is very important to have the correct mindset so that we will not be swayed or go out from he direction that we want to reach.

Talking about mindset...

KUALA LUMPUR: A Wanita Umno delegate from Kelantan said the uniforms of the female cabin crew of budget airline AirAsia are too short and “show too much skin.”

Kubang Kerian delegate Datuk Zaleha Hussin said the uniform was an embarrassment to women.

She called on the Government to compel the carrier to change the uniform of the stewardesses, which she felt was too revealing.

“Tell AirAsia to change their stewardess' uniform. We don’t want to see too much of their buttocks, thighs and legs,” she said, when debating the motion on religion and social issues yesterday.

Change of Mindset?

Another... "Riceless" Month

Well, it is 1 November 2007.

Another "riceless" month last month... and the result is within my satisfactory level.

I will not bother about how many pounds I have lost but I will focus more on the look, how i look.

Felt my jaws with my hand today, I can feel the bones better.
Raised both my arms today and I can see the ribs clearly in the mirror.
Looked at my arms today and I can see the veins clearly too.

Boy am I glad it works. So, what's for this month?

I will stop rice entirely, more intake for vegetables. I will try to stop eating noodles too, if possible.

I will still eat bread, wholemeal only of course...
